Summertime

This is a happy painting that I made up one summer day in my studio.  I like to make fictitious landscapes. The brilliant flowers inspire me.....the blue of lupine, red of Indian paintbrush and yellow of buttercups pop out of my memory. I just put splashes of color on the canvas and have no desire to pain realistic flowers.
